Richland Chambers weekend

Headed to RC over the weekend of January 16. Was originally going to LBJ but if you wait too long to find lodging....you wind up at Richland Chambers! Have never been there so any leads are appreciated. Looking for whites/striper and will probably bait a hole for catfish. TIA

I'd recommend you go for the Catfish on RC or find another Lake if you're really wanting Whites & Hybrids. After the recent rains, the Lake rose 2' and Spillway Gates have been open for the past week. Tried the Whites on Monday with very little luck finding only small fish. Had a good Catfish trip on Tuesday. We catch "Eater Size" Blues all Winter way up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake fishing timber in 25'-35' FOW using Danny King's Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook.
