Nueces River

Just wanted to give a report on how the white bass are running on the Nueces River. Fished the river on 1/18 and 1/19. Quite a bit of boats on Sunday, plenty of fish on the finder, as the water seems to be getting warmer. Had some success. Not as good as 2018, but quite a bit better than 2019's run. Caught females with eggs so they are definitely starting to move. Good luck!

Well that was fun while it lasted......sometimes I hate the internet.

Facebook is 10x worse. Guys will post pics on San Antonio pages and there will be hundreds of comments about “where, what baits, etc”. Then you have the guys that want the exact spots and specifics because they are too lazy to learn on their own.

River used to be fun, and some will say go during the week, but that has also become a thing of the past.
This thread will have 2000+ views before the end of the week!

Agreed -- over publicized , over crowded, and now over rated.
