Jake,

Sharing your honey holes is the quickest way to loose a honey hole. Hopefully, someone might share a public spot that has some success. But, honey holes....not so much.

Not too many people do that around here. You might have better luck asking for a kidney on this forum

I lived in farmers branch last year. Two great spots. Ken Rymer Park. Amazing bass fishing. Caught many in the 3-5 pound range. I fished from my kayak, but I'm sure the bank would be fine. It has a canal that feeds into it, caught a lot of fish out of it too. Has a damn wall that feeds into a golf corse pond which is also solid. Down the road from that is a library. Can't remember the name, but also has a large pond with some big bass. The library pond is connected to miles of canals, I fished, did very well. Ken Rymer park is awesome. Hope you find it and enjoy it as much as I did.

Not a honey hole by any means but Bachman holds nice size bass I know a few guys have some secret spots at this place but I like to fish from the bridges - back up to the creek area I never really had luck on the wider part of the lake - I've caught 1-5 lb bass whacky riggin a senko style worm "nice and slow" the fish in this water hate fast moving bait they spook very easy if you miss one don't count on him coming back to hit again very rare if it happens

Park IN BACK of the what a burger on NW HWY.... And fish all that under the bridge and work you way to the right towards the narrower part if you have a YAK or a tub work that beige hard there's a guy with a very modified fishing type mini pontoon yak thing "never seen anything like it " abd he stays under the lemon st bridge and uses ultra light tackle small grubs and tubes abd hammers little bass

Tommy G,

Where do you park if you don't live in the neighborhood? Is it residents only?

Thanks

You said the secret words. We are running out of honey holes with the pressure we put on them.

I don't know if you can still fish the lake at Squaw Creek golf course in Willow Park. You could twenty years ago and it's nice.

I tried Ken Rymer this morning...no luck...but there was some serious top water action...just not my type I guess.

cracks me up that a fishing site has people that won't share public spots that they know of.

go out and do the leg work and then you can tell who ever you want about where ever...
until then, go find the patterns and scout spots. No one ever gave me nothing.

Check the bank fishing section. Map full of spots to try. Can't get easier than that bro.

And like stated above, some are better than others you just have to fish them to find out. Nothing's free anymore

I think another problem is the fact that a lot of people go based of results from years past and not anything recently. About 5 years ago I used to fish a spot that was hit or miss. Heading on 20 eastbound. It is way before terell, but it is underneath a bridge. My dad said it was a creek that fed from ray hubbard. But there were nice hybrids there. Put a lure on and if they were there you caught a bunch of 4-5 lbers. But that was so long ago, who knows if it is worth fishing anymore.

I moved here (Rendon) 18 months ago and I can tell you this is the hardest place to find a decent fishing spot atleast for LMB fishing however there are some nice gents on here willing to point you in the right direction. I asked without much success at first but then got on google maps and started checking places out in the process bumping into some of the members and now I have a couple spots I can catch a few but not willing to blast it on here as these places get hammered on a regular. If you search enough on here you can find plenty of spots depending on where you are located.

I'm going to tell you this: if you see water around here, fish it! You will be surprised
