GV with my brutha!

GV with my brutha! - 10/12/17 01:48 PM

Our intentions were to go to Squaw this week, but work pulled me away from leaving town. We opted to go to GV instead. Spent about 5 hours out there and it was just a perfect day. Steven comes down every year and stays with us for his vacation. The dude has been pushing carts at Wal-Mart for 22 years, so he's well deserving of a break. He loves to fish and drive the boat, and catching fish was just a bonus yesterday. God is Good!

Great pictures! I always enjoy when my brother and I get to go fishing. I have never caught a small mouth, where do you look for them and what do you use? Do they like the same lures and locations as large mouth?

Was that you guys in the red Legend launching as I was coming out? My Skeeter was beached when you launched and I pulled the silver tundra on the ramp as you walked by.

I thought I recognized that boat but couldn't figure out where

Hey Tom...i take all my Grapevine fish to the dam for pics... I thought I was the only one.

Wait a minute. By all rights if he has been pushing carts for 22 years he should be the store manager,or make 30k a year at least.

Great trip. Those are some excellent fish. Thanks for sharing. Thank Steven for all his hard work. It has probably saved someone a dent or two in the side of their car. roflmao

We caught these at the dam on H2O squarebills with rattle chart/black back. They were eating very shallow.......1-2ft.

Just a tad under 3.5 lbs. She put up a great fight, though.
