I'm headed to Broken Bow early December. How's the fishing around that time? I was gonna drag the boat up there but a fishing guide might be more ideal. I'll only be there 2 days. Any guide recommendations? Anyone who might be able to put me on some smallmouth is a bonus.

I have a cabin there and have invited buddies up several years in a row and they have always been cancelled or we ended up trout fishing on the river and not bringing the boat due to very nasty weather and ice storms/snow. I've fished with Bryce Archey which is a great guide in the months of December and January and gotten into them. He's a good guy. The bite will likely be drop shot and jerkbaits, but I've also gotten into blue bird skies and absolutely killed them in big schools when they are stacked up on creek ledges. Good luck.

Depends on what the weather is doing. BB is a good cold weather lake, should be good crankbait and shaky head bite. Usually December is very good.
