I caught one like that with a 4/0 flipping hook. The bait I was using on the hook almost didn't fit in its mouth. The hook never penetrated the plastic...basically the fish choked it and the bait/hook wedged into its mouth. Ha

Reminds me of Friday before last on our working man's T on Alan Henry. TUFF fishing and I won it with one fish for .59 lbs. On AH, there is no minimum length limit on spots or LMB for the first 2. If you keep a 3rd, 4th, 5th fish, they must be 18" long or longer, however. Makes for some small weights in the T's when the fish aren't biting. If I had caught that one, I could have weighed it in, too. One guy weighed a .24 lb fish. He lost his 14" while trying to get them out of the livewell, it jumped back in the lake and I told him tuff luck on that. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
