Favorite Chatter-bait trailer and color?

I have the old Craw Worms from the 80's. No pinches just long thin curly legs. They are one of the best for mimicking a fleeing cray fish. They are very streamline and compact as not to take away from the wobble.
The next best retail trailer that I would use for this Crayfish hatch would be a small craw worm with small pincers. Berkley Power Worm makes a good one in 3.5 inch.
If you are going with the Bait Fish mimic; then I would use the Yamamoto's Swim Worm. Nice and thin with lots of action but will not take much off the wobble of the Chatter Bait.

I use the Optimum Double diamond the most in sexy shad. I think most people use the Lake Fork Shad. It's a great one too.

Yamamoto Zako. One of the shad type colors if using a white bladed jig and then the black and green pumpkin one if using either of those colors as my bladed jig.

Yamamoto Zako and Keitech Swing Impact Fat.
Most of time, I am using a green pumpkin chatterbait, so I will use green pumpkin for the trailer
When I use a light color chatterbait, the trailer usually is tennessee shad or sexy shad depending on water color

A very good cheap alternative is the Havoc Subwoofer. I've also used it as a small swimbait.

Speed craw, Swimmin senko, or Skinny Dipper

Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper, Cali 420.
I like to keep it simple and it has always worked for me. I either use a paddle tail swimbait with the front portion cut off like a berkley havoc grass pig, or sometimes i will use a fluke. I feel like not many people think to use a fluke on a chatterbait but it gives a nice subtle action and also helps make it a smaller profile if they are feeding on smaller bait.

I use a Biffle Bug with great results.

I may be crazy but I don't use a trailer a lot of the time. When I do it is usually just a split tail trailer but have caught just as many with no trailer as with one.
