Gonna fish Lewisville for the first time. Any safety concerns or things to look out for?

Thanks

Watch the points as they can extend into the lake a bit. Don't run the main lake north of the dam as there are many trees in the middle. Run the sides only. Lake is high enough that they may not be an issue, but I wouldn't chance it. Careful going up Doe Branch as there are various trees up that way. Wake boats get out around noon on Saturday, so watch for rollers.

All the cuts for old dams and the cut to The Colony (Pier 121) are idle only. Watch for small boats and shore walkers!

During the summer, get off the lake by noon on the weekends unless you like huge waves on a calm day...
