Don't know what your looking for. Was at the Boat Center in Flint a week ago. They had a 2006 Ranger 175VS with a 115hp Yamaha that looked near new. Was told the motor has 159 hours. The price seemed like a bargin to me. I have owned the same boat for ten years. Mine will do 54 mph and fishes great. Just right for me. It's not a big water boat. Boat Center salesman is Matt, 903-825-2293. Hope you find what you are looking fo.

Lot of good boats out there Fish and I'm not going to pitch one over the other but I do highly recommend a 4 stroke engine. I'm on my first one and love it. Lot of manufacturers are putting them on their boats now and for good reasons. Mine is a Yamaha but I'm sure Mercury's are just as good. You won't be sorry.

Nitro, Tracker and I've seen some Ranger models.

Hmm most of the new mercs 200HP and up are proxs 2 stroke motor.
Maybe some using the small Hp elpto 4 strokes but all the new big motor mercs are 2stroke.

I do agree the sho is a 4 stroke and one of the most efficient motors there is. But it's no speed demon

Haven't seen the Nitro's come rigged with 200-250 4 strokes because they're trying to keep the price down but you can get them. The Mako boats do come with the big 4 strokes on them. The reason Skeeter has the 4 stroke Yamaha's is of course because Yamaha owns Skeeter. I have no problem recommending my 4 stroke because it's been a great almost maintenance free engine, is super quiet and sips gas. Speed is not an issue with me.
