Old Lipless Crankbaits - 08/18/17 09:01 PM

I throw a lot of Rattletraps these days, but haven't even bought one of the many "new" ones. How many of you remember the first ones like the Pico Perch, Bomber Pinfish, and original Cordell Spot, etc? Any still using any of those?

Everyone throws the new latest and greatest baits. I prefer the older baits. They caught fish years ago, so why wouldn't they work now? Swim baits??? Bass still go crazy over the old Fred Arbogast A C Plug.

I bought about every color of the Rapala Clackin Rap a while back and can't catch near as many fish with it as my rat L trap with 50% of the paint missing I really think that bass will bite any of the old lures just as good as they did in the 90's it's us the angler that has changed the menu

I still have about 20 of the Bomber Pinfish. Can't be beat in shallow hydrilla.
