Taking an old friend out fishing on Sunday. Suggestions? - 07/21/17 04:09 PM
I'm taking an old buddy fishing on Sunday, he doesn't fish nearly as much as I do, so I don't want to make it too much of a grind.. Probably not gonna be an all dayer.. Any suggestions on where we should try for a fun day of fishing? I normally fish Fork and to say the least, It's been a beating so far this Summer.
I live in Anna, Tx.. will drive up to 1.5 hrs one way..
Thanks in advance!!

Fish early, rest during the day then go back in the evening. It is HOT out there.

In your neck of the woods, Texoma is one of my favorites or Crockett up there just past Bohnam was a fun little lake when I went a couple years ago. Lots of grass and pads.
