Gill Raker Worms

Gill Raker Worms - 07/12/17 12:52 AM

I had a family friend that gave me a treasure trove of gear when he passed away about 15 years ago. Among the goods were several hundred bags of the 8" Zetabait Gill Raker worms. Sadly, my stash is almost depleted and I can't track anymore down. From what I've found by clicking around the internet machine, Zetabait was bought by Edge Lures out of Lagrange, GA (and I'm not sure even how accurate that is). It would also appear that Edge Lures is no longer operational.

There is a ton of knowledge and connections here. Can anybody offer some help and point me in the proper direction to track down the company or person that may still make these or have the mold?

Thanks!

Try calling Zetabait directly at 334-943-1902. They may refer you to a dealer.

The number is out of service. I'd like to know as well. Any other ideas out there?

Me too! Black with red flake and black with blue flake were two of my night fishing staples.

Depending on how much your wanting to spend we are about to receive new CNC machines to cut molds for shooting plastics. We could design the shape of the worm in a CAD drawing then cut the molds for shooting. I'm not going to lie it's pricy to design and cut a mold but you could have it for life or have us shoot the plastic for you.

I still have 2 bags of Gilraker grape 10" worms on my peg board in the garage. Bought them years ago on Ebay. My favorite worm. Used to kill them on Gibbons Creek.

Just checked Ebay. There is a guy selling them. There are 7 packages left!

Both of those numbers don't work either -

First one is not connected and the second one works but the guy is not Chris and had no idea what I was talking about.

Thanks for the try on that though!

Anybody else with possible leads on this? It wasn't just the mold design but also the consistency of the bait. completely different than anything else I've found.

Matt, I'd be interested in talking to you about the possibility of cutting a mold. Shoot me a PM.

Thanks,

Logan
