It really depends on water clarity and whether or not you're fishing fast or slow.

Agreed. Just as important is the fact mono floats, fluro sinks.

I love to swim a jig in very clear to stained water visibility probably 2 to 3 feet, but I will jig it , bounce it and swim it.

I'm sure they can see both just the same

I had some small bass fry swiming circles around my Fluorocarbon, so I know they can see it just fine.

They don't mind 65lb braid...

In the 70s and 80s all anybody fished with was fluorescent line.
We caught plenty of fish on it.

I have a theory that it's more the action with the lb test not the line but who knows.

All I can say it try fishing mono with same bait as your partner that is using fluro and you will find out.

A lot of different variables here as mentioned such as type of lure being fished, presentation, water Clarity, cover, pressure and more.

In my experience it doesn't make that much of a difference most of the time. However sometimes it makes a huge difference.

I would go with whatever you have confidence in. I think confidence matters just as much as anything else with any setup.

Water clarity is key!

When fishing water with less than 3' visibility I doubt you will notice a difference. 5'+ visibility I would say Fluro has a edge over Mono.

Braid??? I promise you they can see it no problem. That's why so many people use Fluro leaders on their braid now. I think its silly but whatever......

They can see all of it. Just like they can see the wires on a alabama rig. I catch fish at amistad worm fishing on 80lb braid. Don't over think it.

Don't think it matters to the fish. I just don't like the stretch of mono.

Which ever lake you fish normally, you and your partner use the same lb test line and one use mono and the other flouro.. same soft plastic presentation... get back tonus and let us know which one caught more fish...
