humminbird solix or helix

I am looking at upgrading graghs. I am looking to get either 2 12 inch solix or helix. I am also purchasing the 360 for trolling motor. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

The one with the touch screen and as big as you can afford.

I have 2 12" helix g2, and the images produced are very similar in quality, if not identical. The Solix is about $400 more in the 12" model and that's purely based on the touch screen capabilities. If the Solixes were out when I got my Helix, I would have gone with the solix. You can't go wrong with either though, I live my helix units and he images are unreal!

I believe the solix will share your map card also. I believe the solix will give you more control on how you want your screens set up with views. My helix 12 is all preset on where the view are and I only get 3 max where I believe solix can put in 4 boxes. Double check me on that though

For real? Get the Solix. It is the top of the food chain.
