Bass Boat Lanes for SOLIX - 06/12/17 03:58 PM

Has anyone used the bass boat lanes card for the Solix units yet? Can't seem to get mine to load.

Solix units import from GPX files.
Are you using a Boatlanes GPX?

Just standard micro sd card

What folders or files are on the microSD-card?
MATRIX folder, some GPX file or both?

Solix units import and export GPX files. Lance Vick Boatlane cards or downloads should have a GPX file for the lake you need. What lake are you importing?

Its the card he sells that comes with Rayburn/Toledo/Fork. Was trying to do Rayburn first.

The question they are asking is "Humminbird or Lowrance?". The GPX is a Lowrance format, I think. The May would be the version of the card you need.

Correction, USR is Lowrance, you may need to convert if the card doesn't have the folder with the gpx version of the files.

The questions being asked are:
Do you have the Solix required GPX formatted file?
Have you done the Solix Home->File->Import Navdata?

I can help you with the GPX file...

If you put the sd card in your computer and open it does it have a matrix folder or a gpx file? Im guessing its a matrix folder. Solix doesnt read that format, thats for the helix and older series graphs. The solix/onix reads a gpx file. You can use GPS Babel to convert it

I'll put the card in my computer tonight and see what file it is.

I was having the same problem with my new Helix Mega. So you have to do it from the computer first ?

Once you have it on the card the helix should read it. Does it ask you to import anything when you put the card in? Also, you might have to go in to the waypoints management menu on the helix and select the lake, say rayburn, and edit the track to make it visible. You can change the color and size of the line on the track to what you want.

Did you go to your home menu, then to files, then import nav data? It wont automatically ask you to download
