Best flip flops for all day fishing

Looking to buy a new pair for all day fishing.
Let me hear your preference and why.

Crocs makes a dang comfy flip flop.

I got a pair about a year and a half ago and still wear them quite often. They've lasted well, they float, and they don't put black marks on my feet/toes.

I have been wanting to try these shoes but I'm worried that they will sweat like crocs do. Is that not the case?

Olukai for sure!!!! Takes a few days to break them in, but once you do nothing else compares...

What style of Reef do you like?
I was looking at some yesterday that had a bottle opener on the bottom.
They seemed to have pretty good cushion.

I like my crocs but I'm waiting on a pair of soft science to come in I recently ordered.

The Reefs you looked at with a bottle opener are called the Fannings. They are the higher end/priced reefs but they are also by far the most comfortable and durable. I have about 10 pair. Only had one pair tear up over the years and that was when I was hit by a car in them... (long story of which I don't remember much of even before the car hit me).

Columbia pfg slip ons. I have a couple pair and best boat shoe ver made. I have tevas, soft science. (Hot) but go to my pfg' every time. Just pull the insoles out and put the shoes and insoles in wash with the rest of your stuff. Good luck JD.

I like the Rovers I bought a few months back. First time trying Reefs. Dry fast when they get wet and are very comfortable. You can buy them on Amazon a lot cheaper as well.

Have about 4-5 pair of Olukais that I like a lot. They last forever too.

I have two pair and have to wear socks with them. Little hot and clammy for me. Comfy shoes but I prefer PFG from Columbia

Do you wear socks with the columbia pfg shoes as well?

Anyone ever tried Chacos ?

I ended up going with Sims. very happy with them so far. I had a pair of Olukai's but the EVA foam ended up hurting my feat for some reason.

Reef Fannings

Any sandals that don't smell like sweaty feet after a couple wearings? Asking for a friend.

No socks with pfg. It is a very well ventilated boat shoe. Can't do flip flops. Don't like stuff between my toes. For a sandal type shoe I would go with Teva. The nicer ones have good support.

I love the idea I just can't stand hot and sweaty. May have to give these a try.

Tevas are good but the most comfortable ones I found were a set of Columbias that lasted three years. Would have lasted longer but I stepped off the boat and the right one broke when it got stuck in the mud. Bought Tevas and they are fairly comfortable.

These have been my favorites. The Keen Uneeks.

I was never a flip flop guy at all. Bought a pair of Reefs with the bottle opener and I love them.

Chaco for standing all day. Great flip flops.

Cheaper than the Fanning model and way more comfortable.

These ^^ I suffer from psoriatic arthritis. I can wear these all day. I had a pair of Reefs. The ones with bottle opener. They couldn't cut it.

Olukai have been my favorites for years.

The best water shoes I have found are Teva Optimas...Crocs too slippery for me busted my tail a few times no more Crocs for me. For casual flip flops I wear Reefs.

Sperry double marlin. They're at Academy. Most comfortable I've had. I've wore PFG and crocs previously.

I have seen the Reef Fannings show up a lot. I like the grip on the bottom of these. Has anyone had any problems with the bottle opener on the bottom? Do you ever feel it or torn up your boat with them?

I bought some Soft Science at Bass Fest last year and my feet sweat like crazy and I slide around in the shoes. I'd say fail.

I picked up the Crocs Modi Sport - Academy has them on sale 19.99 normally 29.99. Having to get my feet used to flip flops again - haven't worn them in probably 20 years. Been wearing regular croc for so long so no used to the rubber between the toes .

I have always been a reef guy but recently bought some Simms sandals and I am very impressed. They have a high arch in them and really helps through out the day. Give me a try

I've had a couple different pairs of Reefs and they killed my feet. Crocs made my feet sweat way too much. I have been wearing a pair of Tevas for the last couple years that have great. My favorite so far.

They look like they have a lot of cushion without the bottle opener to scratch up the boat or tear up carpet.

Reef Fanning is the way to go. Bottle opener causes no issues..........

Soft Science makes a great flip-flop.

I wore these to the beach in Destin, Florida for a week, to Disney World for a week and the Mountains for a week. They are the best. They dry easily after being wet and they even have drainage holes in the sole to allow the water to drain. I won't buy any other.
$45 on Amazon right now. Oh yeah, I'm extremely flat-footed so you know they have to be legit.
