Fished Palestine today with a buddy of mine and to say it was tough was an understatement. We caught 4 dinks from sunup till about 4:30pm. On a positive note I did learn how to run the north end from 155 to Kickapoo, My buddy Marc knows that lake like the back of his hand and he was breaking in his brand new legend, talk about a sweet ride,uh yeah. We fished some good looking stuff just couldn't find any with size, nor numbers for that fact anyways tough day. Anyone know what won the media championship?

Good to see some guys caught them today but these weights seem kinda slow for palistine this time of year. Usually takes a 30lb sack to win a tournament that size on this lake.

It was a grind no doubt! Jarrett and I fished really clean and pulled off the win. Biggest win for me so far. As far as the weights being low this lake has taken a pounding over the past month. I really didn't think we had a chance to win with the 17 lbs we had today.

It was tough for us both days. Had 12lbs and 11 lbs. Had to go to backup plan by 11:30am on day 1. That's never a good thing when plan A of a 2-day goes bad that early. Thank goodness I have a good partner and we were able to keep grinding. Never could get a quality bite. Didn't have a fish over 3.5lbs all weekend. Ended up 24th, 1st out of the money.

We fished pretty clean, didn't lose anything that would have cost us the tournament. Grind is an understatement. I don't think I've ever made that many casts in a day.

The least they could have done was spell your name right. Maybe you should have told them it was Bubba.

Congratulations on the win! You're right, Palestine has taken a beating lately.

Congrats to you and Jaret. Looking at the list of teams, y'all prevailed over a bunch of really good tournament sticks.

We also struggled, caught plenty of fish but all dinks. It was a total beatdown and pretty frustrating, if anyone wants to say how they caught them i would be interested if we were at least doing the right thing.

CONGRATS to the winners and every other TFF member, too. TUFF FISHING is all I can say, by the looks of it. Had a friend 2 weeks ago (Paul Ferguson) win his T and qualify for the national T with almost 45 on 2 days, but like said before, he practically lives on that lake and knows it's in's and out's pretty well. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

We had right at 39 pounds in that same tournament. We were talking about what it would take to win the night before the tournament and I guessed 38-39. I obviously underestimated!
