13lber caught on Fork today

Looks like Randy Oldfield put a client on one a little while ago. Great fish and congrats to both.

I will say it surprise me he is advertising the last few years he wouldn't tell anyone when he caught theses big girls. Randy and clients have caught a few of these big girls over the last five years.

I noticed that the skin on the top outside of your left hand is dark and irregular in shape. If you have had this examined by a doctor or if it is just a shadow, ignore what am about to suggest. Go see a doctor quickly, and rule the possibility of this being a melanoma type of skin lesion.

Randy still holds the record on Cypress Springs. He caught the record in February and returned the fish. I caught the same exact fish in the exact same location in July the same year. I compared pics and the markings were identical. Mine was 12 lbs his was 14. Back in the day he spent a lot of time on Cypress and was the man there too.

BTW, Congrats on the lifetime catch. That's an awesome fish!

I wish my bad luck was catching 13lbers on the wrong days. Haha congrats to the angler

Congrats on a great fish. Those beasts seem to have been hard to come by this year on Fork.

A trained eye can tell that fish is long and thick. That said, I'd be tempted to toss my buddy in the lake for that picture.
