got my butt kicked on richland chambers yesterday!

Hope the others fishing it this weekend do better than I did. We fished from about 930-5. We boated one fish and maybe had 5 bites, I guess we eliminated a bunch of water. Tried deep structure all the way to flipping flooded buck brush in creeks. Did find some cool stuff out deep that should be productive in the summer if I get back out there post spawn. Sure was beautiful weather yesterday and the lake was almost like glass. Only thing that was good about the trip was the double cheese burger at the oak point store!

I'll have to scrap everything from yesterday and come up with a new plan for next weekend. If we get all the rain next week they are predicting I'll need a new plan anyway.

That Rain should put old Rc in to Deep suck mode. You have to stock a lake to keep a number of fish in it. Go shallow and try to cover the entire lake.

Whooped me today, caught a few last week but today was rough...

my partner went friday and had 7 fish to show for it. 3 keepers out of the bunch. low numbers for sure. With all this rain thats coming, richland is going to be a turd hole for the tournament. Not sure why they put this lake on the schedule. One thing though someone on that lake always stumbles on a big sack. It has some toads in it, just not very many bass collectively.

Well 7 fish for a trip is a lot better than the majority of people I have talked to. I like the fact they picked a.different lake to have a tournament on, but I'm sure looking forward to texoma and roberts to get on Lakes I actually know.

We went yesterday had 3 keepers and 3 short fish from bout 730 am dark that lake is a freaking mud hole and I still not sure how to run it random stumps everywhere

The fish are there. I caught a ten lber and on the next cast my son caught a nine. Of course this was in the first of June. Fishing a couples tournament several years back and caught close to nineteen lbs and came in tenth. My son had 16 /2 lbs in a media and was twenty sixth.
It is hard lake to figure out . All the rain next week is going to change everything anyway.

I'll bet it's 16 to get a check and 25 plus to win there will be enough boats on the lake 20-30 teams will have something figured out. Plus there will be teams with a lot of local knowledge of the lake. At this point my plan is simple grab a bright loud square bill and cover water.

There isnt a doubt in my mind that its gonna take a big sack to win, always does on richland. But the tourneys i have fished out there the weights drop off pretty fast. Of course ive never fished a tourney there with a group of anglers like ttt has so it might suprise me what all is brought in. I think as much habitat is in the water it will spread the fish out.

I had planned on heading that way ties/weds. With the amount of rain it's about to catch I will fish the practice day and see what happens. It's all gonna change and I am easily confused anyway. Lol.

Agreed that it will change a lot before the tournament I just plan on going a few more times to try and figure out how to get around the lake. Just appears to be random trees all over the place to me so far.

Throw black and blue jigs in 4 FOW or less. If you try to drive your boat to I45, you will find what im talking about. Hit the tree stumps with the jigs. The fish are there

when you go in start the left side first. sun warms it up faster. have not been there for awhile . if the standing tree are still there. run a 3/4 spinner bait at them. they suspend on them before moving to the bank and moving out post spawn.
