I didn't see any 2015 results on the site. What kind of weight does it normally take to win the Tuesday nights at Hubbard?

Re: Ray Hubbard working man's - 02/25/16 09:00 PM

The Tuesday nighters on Hubbard are only 3 fish limits, and it usually takes over 10 pounds to win.

Looks like a 5 fish limit this year & off limits on tourney day, according to the rules on victorybass.com. Are these new to the series or is the series new?

$70 + $10 BB = $80 entry ..... at least that's how I read it

Re: Ray Hubbard working man's - 02/26/16 01:56 AM

Last year there was an additional fee for mega bass. 8 lbs or better, this was optional as to whether you wanted to play. I had a detached retina that I had to heal from June on so did not finish the year. Up until then mega bass had not been won.

Re: Ray Hubbard working man's - 02/26/16 03:13 AM

So am I understanding this correctly: it is $80 for entry into a 3.5 hour tourney........ every week? And that doesn't include the entry $ for the Mega Bass pot?
Posted By: Rockie Martin

Re: Ray Hubbard working man's - 02/26/16 03:32 AM

The $80 includes super bass pot. Plus there will be a championship at end of season....

Re: Ray Hubbard working man's - 02/26/16 03:34 AM

That's how it was last year, but mega bass was optional. Not sure with new format and thanks for the info Rockie. I didn't think that 7.28 would hold up.

It is still the same this year on megas bass I believe....

Ahhh, I miss the days of Casey or Kevin running the Tuesday nighter out of Dalrock for 15 bucks. Big deal when we went to 20. We were getting 30 boats some nights though. Progress???

Re: Ray Hubbard working man's - 02/26/16 01:58 PM

I learned to tournament fish at that tournament. I met a lot of great people and fisherman that I still call my friends to this day. I fished with Casey. Also occupied the back seats of Stan Browning, Tim Meenan and Jack from Houston that would come visit his sister and bring his boat and always call me. Fished with my good friends Bruce Anderson and Eric Vidal. Those were FUN days.

Pierre,

Time is 6:00 PM to 9:30.

Entry is alittle higher but this is a series now with Angler of the Year, Plaques, and a Championship. I like the times and will allow more anglers to be able to fish it now! Also a 5 fish limit! Ray Hubbard is full and lots of different techniques of fishing this year! I can't wait and will be some big sacks this year!

Sorry guys, I was really hoping to fish this tourney this year and was looking forward to it, but I can't afford $320/month for (4) 3.5 hour tourneys, but best of luck to you in your endeavors and I hope you are able to make it work.
