I have not been yet this year. Probably will not till after the first of the year. Always try to get 4-5 trips in there. Fun little lake. Cannot imagine fishing it with that many boats though. Kinda surprising its that crowded when all the other regular lakes are fishing good and water still 55-60 in most.

Yeah it's a fun little lake but looking up and seeing 10 boats in every direction you look takes the fun out of it for me

Been this way for years. Now it's taking Monticellos pressure too. Don't know why clubs don't hit Martin or Perky

Game warden was there today. Checking everything out. Fish length, boat registration, license, etc. Saw him write a few tickets. As everyone walked down to empty their weigh in bags he was measuring fish. Nice guy and courteous.

Considering he's the one that started this post, I would say Heath was there

We haven't built a major lake in Texas in forever. It's only going to get worse on all of them.

No it wasnt Heath today. There were lots of boats but everything seemed smooth at ramp and on the water. Everyone I encountered was very friendly.

Fishing is still pretty good on most non hot water lakes right now. Y'all can have the bumper boats.

I was thinking the same thing. The fishing has been damn good for December for me anyway.
