Is there a story behind fishing on black friday?

Everywhere I look "black friday is coming up cant wait to go fishing" "any tournaments this black friday?" and other stuff. Whats the deal?

I reckon the wives are on their "annual hunting trip" so the guys take the opportunity to slip away and do a little fishing... At least that's my plan!

Typically because it's a day off for a lot of us. AKA extra fishing day. And there is always a decent sized tournament on Eagle Mountain.
