KVD triple grip question

How bad did I screw up by putting 1 ought size hooks on KVD 2.5 square bills instead of a regular size 1? Thought I was puttings size 1 on until I was checking my tacklewharehouse orde last night. lol

I'd have gone with size 2.

1/0 is going to be a pretty big hook, but give it a try, if it doesn't kill it's action, and you aren't hanging it up all the time, it'll pry work great.

If the hooks don't get hooked together you might be ok.
Rule of thumb for me to go up 1 size bigger than came on the bait.
As far the KVD hooks go I have been using them for a few years and like them a lot.

Hooks will probably collar up and drive you nuts.

They're fine if they're short sank. You didn't screw up.
