I hear that up to 500 houses and a couple strip centers. I doubt Rowlett sees alot of tax money for awhile with the tax breaks that will be given to developer for helping. I would guess there won't be a new ramp. City wouldn't make money with that, heck they sold the library they owned so they can build apartments in its place
City of Dallas was deeded 1 acre for Police and Fire facilities, it is the land between the ramp and 30 on the east side of Dalrock.
The rest of the land will be developed, rumor is marina will be shut down as soon as Rowlett takes over. All the land except the 1 acre deeded to Dallas will be under the control of the developer. I doubt they plan on having a public ramp anymore.
