Broke my rod

Well, I can't really complain because I found this rod in the lake a few years ago. I saw a bait floating in the water and there was a line attached to it. I kept pulling and up comes an All-Star rod and a citica reel. I gave the reel to my partner and I kept the rod. Both were in great shape, but no one else was anywhere near us.

I will say it was the most expensive rod I owned. Pulled it out of the rod locker and put my foot down on top of the trolling motor rope that was wrapped on top of the lid. Lid slipped out of my hand with the last 4 inches of the rod still inside. I'd like to apologize publicly to any women or children nearby for the stream of obscenities that I let out.

Broken two at the same time by accidentally putting the T-motor down on them. Unfortunately these things happen.

ouch, I closed one of mine in a rod box one time. I was so mad at myself.

Broke 2 Heavy GLoomis BCRs on the same day will fishing Falcon.

Don't feel too bad I think we all done it. Guy I was fishing with as a coangler forgot to strap his rods down one rough rainy day he lost I think 6 total.

Lost the top 4 inches of my brand new Quantum EXO this weekend. I think it had been damaged shipping, but all the sudden on one cast my line just tightened, and there was the tip of my rod sitting at my feet. Some choice words were had. I feel your pain.

If anyone finds a Skeet Reese Alabama rod with a LH Citica on Lake Kurth, it's (was) mine.

Now that was funny!
