Where is the next Classic going to be held?

I have googled it and can't find it.

Looking at the google results, tho, it seems like they typically announce 2nd week of November where it will be the year-after-next series year, i.e. they announced the location of the 2013 Classic in November '11.

Toledo Bend out of Cypres Bend has my vote.

They haven't announced the 2016 location yet, but yes they are waiting longer than usual to do so.

In the classic news conference they said it has not been decided yet where it will be held.

The further north they have it in February the higher the chance for truly inclement/dangerous weather. Helluva thing the showcase for bass fishing held in these frigid conditions.

Where would the expo be held? Can't be the same place as the weigh-in but needs thousands of square feet of space ... indoor space.

Winners press conference just concluded. I watched 9 hours of coverage today. The live fishing coverage from 9:AM till 1:PM eastern was the best. Dog jumping was the worst. Sad for Bobby Lane but Casey knocked it out the park today. Good job.

I'd personally love to see the '16 Classic on the Louisiana Delta or in Florida. Add in the dimension of locks and cold fronts and it could be a classic of epic, decision making proportions. That said, we've entered a new age of live coverage during the event. It's only going to get better, but keeping the anglers within manageable proximity to the cameras and internet, could require BASS to focus solely on lakes, or single lakes on river systems.

Grand Lake is located centrally and would fit the tv production side of things.

I've heard the same thing..permits have already been pulled from what I heard.

The only place in Nac that could even think about hosting anything would be the Expo center and even then its pretty small for such a large event.

I don't think that SFA would even consider letting anyone use the coliseum.

How about Texoma and have the expo at one of the casinos? Huge lake with all 3 species and lots of ways to fish.

Remember them 2 outside video screens on the new cowboy stadium. Yea they ain't there and were never intended to be there.

I think I heard the la delta but if they do it might as well be the Venice tourney. That whole place has changed. I would love to see a rayburn/lufkin classic but I don't think Lufkin can hold the people. Plus I'm not sure the anglers want to be somewhere where there would be so many spottaters. Can you imagine someone trying to run up past the canyons and 100 boats trying to follow? Talk about some lower unit problems. I would like to see them tackle Rayburn this time of year. It has lots of big fish potential.

I'd love to see it at Chickamauga. Be some monster sacks brought in. Or take it to California for the first time (I think?), the Delta?

You need a venue that is close to big arenas or convention centers and a city willing to pony up money and amenities

I know they were looking at a Texas location a few months ago that some of my tackle industry buddies were excited about. For 2017 maybe?

Whether it happens, I don't know, but if it does, many fans will be shocked or disappointed or both. But I think it'll be great.

Of course, just because I think it's cool, it probably won't happen.

I vote for Chickamauga..not just because its just down I75 from where I live....but...this time of year on the Chick....bags of +40 lbs are possible...Chattanooga is a happening place....it'd be a great Classic..

To be held at the location who provides B.A.S.S. the best deal on facilities, logistical support and comps.

Chickamauga/Chattanooga would be an amazing venue.

Do the classic in Orange on the river system and weigh them in Beaumont. Expo could be in Beaumont as well. Only problem is the phone signal is bad in several spots

It's called a rendering for that very reason. Has nothing to do with getting votes, they get those anyway. I'd say that ATT Stadium turned out ok for everyone involved. The Frisco project will be the same.

I know there looking at Texas. Weigh in at American Airlines. Expo at convention center. Lake levels right now are a problem
