Picking up my new (to me) skeeter Saturday

It's a nice boat 03 Skeeter ZX225 W/ a 225 Yamaha. I'm so excited I can barely sleep.... but I almost feel guilty for not getting another bassCat. I guess it's brand loyalty I dunno. Anyone else been through that?

Bass Cat Forever....

To each his own. I was in love with the idea of a BassCat for several years as my first fiberglass bass boat. But when it came time to buy and I actually started driving brands, I fell in love with Skeeter. Plus, I absolutely could not get around the trolling motor foot tray being so far forward on the Bass Cat. I just couldn't do it. Never felt comfortable. Bass Cat builds an awesome boat, great quality, and the Pierce family is as solid as they come, but they're not for everybody.

You will love the skeeter I love my 2005 zx 225

My dad has had a bassCat since 94 and it's what I'm used to. I can't wait to pick up my bug Saturday tho.

You'll love the ride, not downing a Cat but really think the Bug is a better ride! Congrats

Exciting to be picking up a boat this time of year! You'll be fired up to catch them spawning bass on the Sabine river and the lakes. I've owned several Skeeters and really like the way they are laid out and think they look good also. As far as changing brands, why not, you found a boat you like, good for you.
