Can't find anything on Joe Pool

Is the water level good to go and if it is what ramp is best to use.

Almost full and all ramps good. Fishing? Well you can't have everything! :-)

Joe Pool has no issues as far as water goes. I think the fish are gone though. Just disappeared like the people of Roanoke without a trace. It has been tough.

Is there any grass left at Joe Pool?

It's tough out there. I think you get so many people fishing the banks and I don't mean bass fisherman with out a boat.... Well these people are using minnows among other items of bait and I bet they keep everything they catch over time it takes a toll. It's hard to even find bass on the side imaging sometimes out there.

Tough lake since they killed the grass a few years ago. Give it a shot! Might get lucky.

in the past 4 weeks i have made 5 trips to joe pool from azle and have yet to get a bite or talk to any one who has. pool was my home lake until 5 years ago and i have caught tons of fish there. early prespawn should be in full swing but?????????????????? there are lots of big fish in that lake you just have to find them.

Trust me, they aren't gone.

They are out deep but they are hard to find and hard to catch. At least they have been for me out there. I know some guys personally that know how, when and where to catch them deep.

I wonder if the bass on that lake spawn in deeper water also? Could that explain the lack of a good pre spawn bite in shallower water?
