Let us know how it actually is. I'm going to try and slip out there this week before the Legend tournament.

Being a 'weather guesser' here in Texas is a TOUGH JOB!
Sure there are other places that the weather changes quickly as well but, here it sure does in a HURRY!!
Guess that's not too bad if you have a 21' boat to handle rough water....

Mark, that forecast is about right.

My experience with forecasted wind is to double it and add 5 mph. grin

Windfinder app on your phone has it at 10:00 am 12 with gust to 32. and at 1:00 pm it will be 13 to 24 . It is a good and easy to use.

This aviation weather site is the most accurate one I've found:

Well we where out there all day yesterday and it was brutal in the afternoon. See what today brings, it's a little chilly this morning.

Well, ya'll be safe. Some of these lake develop some real 'rollers' in a hurry. But, some of ya'll's boats handle the water much better than others.
17 1/2' boats usually don't handle rough water that well....
I watch for weather from the south or east to fish in and avoid like the plague winds from the west where I fish.
God Bless

If I plan a trip. You can count on wind and rain even in drought conditions. Now add a cold front in mid May. I prefer this over 100 degree days.

Fish all day yesterday in it. Came out of glade to 4 footers, stopped by a spot near the damn and there where 2 footers. Wind was out if the south too

WOW!! 4 footers will ruin a day quick! LOL, two foot rollers are too much for me (well, if the wind is from the west), gets really tough..
How was the bite in the wind?

Good before the wind came in

Not so hot after it came in. I couldn't hold on my deeper schools or feel em eat it
