good day on Benbrook. - 05/04/14 03:52 AM
Have to brag a little! Had our C.A.S.T tournament today on benbrook and my wife and I had a blast. For me it was one of those days you dream about having. We had 30.25 pounds on five. My big bass was 9.55# just thought I would share I'm headed back out tomorrow. Sorry for the big pics.

I'm not trying to sound like a tree hugger but the dude outside the pic holding that fish is an idiot. Grab the jaw man. It looks like he has his finger through a hole where the cull tag was? Looks like the fish is on a coat hanger! If that's the weigh master I would expect a better job to be done from that kind of tournament.
Otherwise, great job! Guess benbrook will be hammered for the next month with people from mineral wells and granbury in addition to all the dfw locals haha

Who got second and third and what were their weights? I fish C.A.S.T. northeast and have friends who fish the metroplex division.

I finished third in that tourney with Skeeter Man, that guy is a stick and that is all there is to it. CAST is a great circuit to fish, thanks Happy Kamper for pointing me in that direction. Skeeter we had 24 lbs yesterday so you beat us twice this weekend. I would tell you that we left early but you were gone when we got to the ramp, see you at Whiteny.

Sounds like the north division should move their cancelled tournament from EM to Benbrook. Bet there will be some jackpotters!

true but I like how cast has their entry set up to keep the jackpotters away.

There is really not enough money to be won to justify jack potting. Nice bag of fish to the op, 30 pounds ? I may have done that one time in my life, but not in a tourney.

Uh Oh...the word is out now. I've noticed a larger number of boats on the lake. Probably because of this post.
Benbrook has been a challenge over the past few years but it is starting to pay dividends now.
