Daiichi Finger Saver - great little gadget

Daiichi Finger Saver - great little gadget - 03/26/14 03:46 PM

Just received two of these I ordered from Tackle Warehouse. I saw them on a video showing how to tie braid to mono or fluoro. As you know, line can slice your finger really easily. You simply wrap the line around the notched groove in this ring, which has a rubber lining inside of it, and pull your line taught.

They come in size Medium and Large. These are Large, and I don't have really big/thick fingers and I can't get it all the way down over the middle knuckle on my middle or index finger, but I can on my ring finger. Unless you have really small hands, I would probably not get the Medium size.

Cool idea, how much?

Ive just been wrapping my finger with duct tape for years when I know I will be fishing with braid.

I just got done putting neosporin on my left index finger. Lol. Stupid floro line cuts WAY easier than mono. And a line cut is SO MUCH worse than a paper cut. Those look pretty cool.

They run $8.99 at TW.

A few line cuts in your fingers and you'll wish you had one.
