I am wondering if that means they are not going to have an overall championship and instead will only have divisional ones?

No we were told this is not in place of championships but to create a higher payout in the last tourney thus a better turnout

Looks like they are making an attempt to respond to anglers wanting to fish against a high number of entries. There were so many divisions that it seemed to spread the fields thin.
Only one Individual and that's the way it use to be when there would be 180 or 200 entries in the January Palestine tournament. Seems this might be a good move for that division to increase the entries and make the payout higher.
Looks like last year there were around 11 divisions and this year around 7. He definitely consolidated. I personally hope it helps Media's turnout.

West Texas is coming today.
NE teams has Fork on the schedule twice when there is a whole Fork division with 6 tournaments?

They won't put Palestine on there. That is probably because the Fork division is one of their best draws and may think it would increase the numbers.

I've never understood why fork is such a good draw for stringer tournaments. I'd rather get kicked in the head than fish a stringer tournament out there. Chasing 5 fat unders just goes against everything a bass tournament should be about.

I wish they had an individual division fishing lakes like Palestine, Tyler, Fork, Pines, Cedar Creek, Martin Creek

I think that historically it's been a good draw so there is a few dollars to win. Those little swimmers pay big bucks! LOL
