How often do you use these? Are they really useful tools?

Thx for your opinions and input.

Agree. When fishing offshore structure your at a huge disadvantage without it. Once you really learn how to use it you will be amazed at how effective it is.

I couldn't imagine not having it anymore.

If you take the time to really learn how to use it, it will change the way you fish. No more guessing "is that brush or is that fish?" You see what's down there. But there is a learning curve to it.

Saves so much time looking for underwater cover. My favorite feature so far.

I left my rods at home the first four times I went out just to force myself to sit be patient and learn how to use it. Now I cant imagine not having it on and scanning a spot before fishing it just to look a piece of cover again

I'd rather have SI and one rod on the boat than 10 rods and no SI.

After you get some confidence in them, they change the way you fish.

Worth every penny. I may hit 4-5 spots before I actually put the trolling motor down because I actually know what's down there. Granted you still have to catch them but it makes it easier to take your time and cover the area if you know there are actually fish there.

Best thing we ever put on the boat. Impossible to cover anywhere near the water without them. Many East Texas lakes require you to find deeper structure to catch fish. Si makes it sooooooo much easier.
