ffirst tournamen weigh in - 05/04/12 07:18 AM

I weighed in at a tournament for the first ttime ever. Even though it was only 1.98 lbs and nowhere near big enough for money it felt great. I did hook on as well that would have probably been in the money but seing that im still new to bass fishing my knot wasnt that good and he got off with my bait a shaky head with a trick worm boy was i pissed and fowl words were heard across the lake i just glad to finally have weighed in a fish.

First off, congrats!! Second off, dont come to the dark side. Its way too expensive, time consuming, and addictive!! Turn away before its too late!

fishing an occasional tournament can't hurt.....I like to bass fish just to fish...........tournaments take the fun out of fishing in my book. However, This is coming from somebody who's never been in the money in a tournament.
