Looking to add one of these to the arsenal during Academy's Rod Riot, unfortunately, I can only get one at the moment. And I think the store here in Waco only has the Heavy Action Veritas in stock.
Any additional feedback is appreciated, for potential future purchases..

I picked up a Falcon BuCoo at the riot here in angelo, I am very pleased! 2nd Choice would be Carrot Stix -- got one at last years riot and it's my 2nd favorite after a Falcon Cara for t-rigs and creature baits.

I have a Med 7' veritas micro and love it. If you are considering a heavy action I would save the money and buy abroom stick. They are heavier than most others. My Med is more like a MH.

Whichever one of those rods are black I would choose. No need to have any colored rods on the boat if you respect yourself.

I like my carrot stix and it def looks cool, but the one thing i don't like about it is, the metal thing you but your hook when you store it is under your grip, and always dragging a finger over it.

I'd say bucoo,veritas or the carrot stick depending on what you want to do with it.
I have two bucoo's i love, a veritas i love and a carrot stick i like too.
I have a lowrider that i let friends use that don't have many rods.
It just doesn't excite me, it's just ho-hum. I actually prefer my all-star classics to my lowrider...

Lowrider. Veritas is the rod for those to borrow.
