And id use a watermelon baby brush hog on a 3/0 1/8oz gamakastu ewg super line hook.

Lol. Yeah my thinking on that would be that there will still be prespawn fish since they don't all spawn at the same time. Rest of the year it's a drop shot.

Jig. Depends on what type of structure I'm fishing that day whether it be a FB or swim jig.

One bait... I'd have to go with a jig. Its such a versatile bait than can be fished anywhere. Burn it under the surface, hop it on the bottom, ease it though cover, swim it in, and dead sticking. Color wise, if I could only choose one for the time frame listed I'd have to go with a perch or bluegill color.
