Docks when Cloudy

If you found some good fish flipping docks during sunny conditions how do you approach those fish when it’s cloudy? Will you still flip the docks and not worry as much about flipping tight to cover or will you just have to fan cast all around the dock because they are probably roaming and could be anywhere?

It depends on what the fish are doing.. Just because it is sunny outside doesn't mean the fish are tight under the docks. On the flip side, just because it is cloudy or overcast doesn't mean the fish are roaming around. You just have to see what theyare doing by fishing thoroughly. For example on Eagle Mountain, I have caught fish when it was overcast under and around the wide area of the dock. Next day when it was clear and sunny, the fish had moved shallower to the isolated shade under the walkways.
