My son caught his 9.02 on a Junebug Zoom Mag II.
Wife's best fish came on a Pop-n-Image and weighed 7.4.

First double digit bass was a 10.2 on an old Hank Parker spinnerbait, spring time on Choke Canyon. The, four years later, best was a hair under 13 lbs., caught out of an east-texas lake that's in a gated community; 4-inch lizard, using spinning gear and light line.

11 on a jig that i still have and the skirt has rotted off of since and i have no idea where i got it or what brand she came off a bed in monticello cove on sandlin. had another over 10 on a zoom lizard and another 10 on a power worm and one other on a black and brown amber jig that was 10.

Berkley Power Worm, original, watermelon. not <7 or >7 but 7". Caught in April a couple of years ago about an hour before sunset fishing a shallow hump coming out of deep water. No wind at all which is very rare in April.

My best summer ever: 9.2 on Fork June 24 on a watermelon fluke w/ chartreuse dipped tail. 23 ft. deep. Also roughly 2 weeks earlier, a considerably larger bass on Waco. Green pumpkin Rattlesnake on a C-Rig 12-14 ft. deep. It was 2 PM and hot, and she was stressed, so I returned her to the lake.

12lb 7oz Wat. red brush hog texas rigged Lake falcon 8-10-08. Had a dream about catching a big fish the night before in the hotel room and where to catch it. Went there the next morning and there she was. Just gos to show you should listen to that little voice some times.
BTW: Headed down there Aug. 7-9 to see if I can do better.

I got mine (9.7 lbs) on a bubblegum Trick Worm in the hydrilla at Lake Conroe (2007). I caught it out of the back of my BIL's boat, which just made it sweeter (we went to HS together and are very competitive).
Up until then I think 5 lbs was the biggest I'd ever gotten on a the "notorious" little fish lure that is the floating worm.

I was thinking of running one to see how the weight of your biggest bass correlates to the amount/years of fishing experience you have as well.
I think the combination of those three may be intersting to see.

I kicked things off about midnight on a new moon (dark) night tournament in central Illinois back in 1973 with an 8-lb. 2 oz. on a jitterbug. My fishing partner had a 9-lb. 3 oz. on a black spinnerbait an hour before the 6 a.m. weigh-in. It was a two fish per boat tournament and he got big fish and we got most weight. We caught 4 other bass from 18" to 22" between us.

Mine was 8.2 lbs and it was caught with a weightless zoom mag II worm watermelon red color on lake Austin. Another 8.0 lbs was caught on lake Travis on a white bass jig. Third was a 7.9 caught on lake Graham at the crappie house. Live minnow while crappie fishing.
