Anyone fished Hubbard Creek lately? I know there isn't much grass but just curious if the bite is decent?

It’s about 12 feet low at the moment as well.

Coming an absolute flood here now, the lake will definitely catch a little water. 2.6" in 65 minutes and still raining lightly.

Stompy I think the Corley ramp is the one in game warden. I’m pretty sure the highway ramp is the Bob Clark and it is still open.
But if you use the 180. Ridge ramp trim up on the idle out there is a high spot and make sure you swing south of the bridge for about an1/2 mile before going under it.

You're right, my bad. Shouldn't matter now. Lake has got to come up some with all this rain today.

So what happened to all that water Hubbard was going to get?

Re: Hubbard Creek - 03/24/24 07:38 PM

It came up a smidge and Abilene sucked it back down

The flooding was very localized. It did run into Sandy creek but wasn't as much as expected. My creeks are still running, unfortunately it just wasn't widespread enough for much run off.

After 40mph winds today and high winds tomorrow, it's going to be a mud hole for a few days.

It looked like chocolate milk today when we drove over the bridge.
