Ole Mother Hubbard GIANT

Days like yesterday you don't forget. Ole pops put the smack down on another Hubbard Giant. He drags that dang T-Tig around this time of year, while sitting in the back, getting hung up about every 5 minutes. Today was pretty special when he said "biggun", and I turned around and saw her jump...WOW, get the damn net. Bass Fishing has always been our time together and today was just a little sweeter. Weighed her twice...started at 13-02, went to 12-12, and locked in at 12-14. Congrats Pop that's one helluva fish.

Congrats! I was out in my kayak on the same day fishing Ray Hubbard and skunked... the carp were insane, the entire area I was fishing was overrun with them spawning. Should’ve left but stayed and wasted a whole trip.

Looks like yall were somewhere around the i30 bridge, not sure how yall survived that wind that really picked up around mid day.

I never ask someone where they caught a giant fish because they typically won't tell the truth but when I saw the yellow thingy near the shoreline I thought it was inside one of the marinas.

Robert Bandy caught the lake record out of Eagle Mountain last year inside the marina as a small boat idled over the top of his fishing hole. His fish went 16.0 pounds!

My Dad caught many big bass of the day dragging a worm behind the boat. I like following creek channels and he would drag that worm right down it. Oh how I miss him.
