Seen he is riding a in Skeeter this year . With everything he won in an Express it looks like he would have gave them another year .

He went to express because they would work with him, not because it was better than Ranger.

I am sure Yamaha paid plenty to put him in the Skeeter as opposed to the Yamaha Xpress combination.

Agree it was more likely a Yamaha business decision.

Skeeter Yamaha sponsorship pf BASS, christie winning all he did last year, it all points to this change.

There Is no way it wasn't about the money. But of course isn't everything they do at that level about the money

With Zaldain running a nitro filming lately I suspected an opening spot on the Skeeter team. Glad it went to Jason

I fish an Xpress and have for 12 years. I try not to go out when it’s crazy windy…..
Couldn’t imagine being a pro and running that boat when it’s ride or die.

Rumor is Zaldain borrowed that boat while waiting for his new Skeeter to arrive.

Even his website still has Skeeter listed.

I thought he had switched. I could have sworn he was wearing a mercury hat also.

Just saw an instagram post of him backing his new Skeeter in the shop. Nice wrap.

Finally a tin rig owner admits the ride isn't the same as glass.

Wasn't a rumor. He said it himself on his post that it was a borrowed rig and the new bug had already been obtained.

with continuous use in rough water you are going to have issues with leaks and splits

it's part of owning a tin boat that the industry likes to not talk about
