I’ve done Welsh in the middle of the summer. It can be a steam bath whooping! The fish are still there though! See IF they are discharging water into the lake from LOP discharge pipe up by the dam. Post your results so we can have a real RIP Welsh party!

nobody there and if you know, you know
Kind of like Fayette if I was guessing. Water temps 100, nobody on the lake and smashing em! Some of my best catching days on power plant lakes are this time of year.
Caught em pretty good until the wind started blowing out of the north and it poured rain on us. After it blew through it was nothing.

Throwing a topwater at the LoP pipe when it's pouring in can be real fun in the summer.
