What swim bait head for…

6” powerbait slim Shad. Had a couple of packages of these given to me and they are huge. If you throw them what head do you use? Any luck with them?

I like them on a 1oz jig head with a big hook for fishing offshore.

The depth you want to reach with the swimbait plays a huge role in selecting a weight. As for as the size hook for jighead you want to use one long enough to fit the bait but not get into the tail section and restrict bait action.

This is the biggest head academy had. 1/2 oz SK. I’m thinking too small? What do y’all think?

Bought a magdraft while I was at academy anyway and bought some smashtech convicts and beast hooks last week anyway.
