What is your favorite topwater popper bait? I've had success with the Rebel pop-r and the Yellow Magic ones.
Has anyone tried the booyah boss pop or prank?
Thanks.

Rico, Yellow Magic, Yellow Magic +1, Splash It, Chug Bug, and the Shower blow all work well.
I just wish I had a Yellow Magic +1 in bone color.
Probably all poppers work well when fished at the right time of year.
1/4 oz. Yellow Magic in Bone
Yellow Magic +1 in Alewife
Megabass POP X
Megabass POP MAX
The Boo Yah Prank is a pretty good bait as well

I guess I am the only one but I really like the KVD sexy popper by strike king. It’s my go to top water at the right time.
Chug bug (baby for numbers, origional for size)
Pop Fire (old Japanese popper)

Yellow Magic. I have a couple old Zell Pops that catch em too
I had great results with a walking topwater bait last year, the Strike King Sexy Dawg Jr. I have always used poppers in the past. I tried the walking topwater for the first time last year and got hooked. I enjoyed it so much I had trouble putting the rod down to fish other baits. It does take a little time to perfect the retrieve and action, but the lure is deadly.
I have found the Bass Pro Shops Tourney Special Popper works fantastic. Other poppers when you pop them stay on top of the water these dive a little bit after the pop about an inch or so and that is when they get lit up! First thing is replace the hooks and rings they are total trash.
I like the Damiki D-Pop 70 in the shad color. Not sure if that brand is available in the States but very similar to the Rebel Pop R, just better quality in my opinion.
Rico, Yellow Magic, and Shower Blows are all fantastic.

I’m a yellow Magic guy myself but that chug bug is a good one too. I need to start throwing it more.

I'm a YM guy too.
Does anyone fish a Hula Popper anymore. I have success with them around cypress especially. Maybe the roosting/nesting blackbird pattern???

Used to love these...but those rubber tails became a messy goop after a while.

Same here. The One Knocker Spook is one of my favorite lures.

1. Chug-bug (bigone)
2. Chug-bug (little one)
3. 1/2 yellow majic bone
My nephew is new to fishing and pulled out that crank pop lasted year on Rayburn and I said that was the dumbest thing I ever seen but it caught some pretty good fish, so it works both popping and reeling.
I am a YM and One Knocker guy. I made this one goofing around on my wood lathe and going to give it a try here soon. Shoots water out of the hole in the top…
Pop-R here, won a tournament a couple of decades ago throwing one on Cypress Springs.
