Caught a nice one on PK yesterday.

I spent about 3 hours scoping rough water, then moved to some calmer water and spent 2 more hours looking until I found her.

Thanks for the compliments fellas, I just took the opportunity to show you don’t have to have all that stuff to catch a nice one. I just picked some good water, put on the bait they were liking, put the trolling motor down and covered water.

That’s my second biggest on public water. It was interesting getting that fish in the boat with no net. Thanks to the fine gentlemen in the Skeeter who loaned me their scales. Yep, no scales and no net, I need to work on preparation a little more.

I've been thinking of getting a replica done, have any recommendations?

She was just over 25" long, she'll be a giant when she gets some eggs in her. I didn't get a girth measurement on her, wish I would have now. She couldn't straighten out in the livewell so she kept turning on her side, I was trying to contact my buddy to borrow his scales but the phone coverage is bad out there. I made the call to go find someone who had scales and get a weight on her and get her back in the water.

Don’t let him fib to y’all. He was punching hydrilla up past the bridge. Lots of big PK bass caught this way!
