RHBC Big Bass Record! 12.02 pounds! - 03/13/22 05:40 AM

The Ray Hubbard Bass Club record for big bass in a tournament was broken today on Cypress Springs. Tim Havins, fishing with Josh Mulkey caught a 12.02 pound monster! Cypress is not really known for giants but we had a bunch of big girls weighed in today. I will post full results and pictures in the Bass Clubs section next week. Here are a couple pictures. First one at weigh in

Beautiful fish and perfect timing. What does she have about 2 or 3 pounds of eggs in there? WOW!

I had to check the lake record. Not there, but that was caught when there was grass and pads. With the lake low, this is a freak show!

When that lake had grass there were giants being caught. Just ask Randy Oldfield! Congrats on a great catch.

Amazing fish!! The thing had a bowling ball for a belly! Congratulations! We were fishing near them but did t realize it was that huge until weigh in! You can see my boat behind them in the second pic. Partner and I had been talking about moving over to the area they caught her in slightly before they got there, but stayed near a drain instead. Glad someone proved me wrong that all the big fish had been removed or had died. Very impressive catch!
