Interesting they keep putting in electronics in the advertisements that they know aren't going to be available...

What makes you think they won’t have the lvs34 before anyone else has it?

I'm talking about Mega Live mostly.

There is an ad for Berkeley Trilene 100% fluorocarbon, 400-yard spool plus a 200-yard bonus spool. I went online to check out pricing and availability, and couldn't find anything. I called Bass Pro Shops Katy and the guy that answered told me he would have to call me back. True to his word, he did. He said he could not provide me with any information today and would have to call me back this Thursday. Hmmmmm. We'll see.

Gotcha, pretty hard to come by huh? They’ll probably have like 1-2 per store. roflmao

They (BPS) do seem to be getting deals that nobody else is able to get. The BF Garmin specials, the Lowrance carbons, buying power must be great to have.

If I understand correctly, sale doesn't start until the 10th. That is probably why he couldn't find out anything about it yet.

Didn't they get sued over not having some Carbonlite 2.0 combos available that they advertised in the Spring Sale a couple of years ago? I wondered as well where they are going to get all this sonar equipment when no one else has it. They have a really good deal on the very back page on a Panoptix capable Garmin unit. I'd like to have that. May have to settle for some lures and a fishing rod or reel. If I can get there.

Okay. My sale paper has mysteriously disappeared, so I can't check. That would make sense, the 10th is Thursday.

I’m sure it will be 10 percent off Redhead. Johnny won’t mark anything of quality down.

Someone would sue over that…😂 Judge should give the person that sued a sentence of hard labor.

They've pulled the Mega Live from the catalog, so clicking the link results in an error. The Mega 360 shows, "Not Available Online." I'm guessing they got neither.

There are several other sale items that are not clickable... Looking like a waste of time!

Doesn't surprise me at all......there may be a lot of stuff they mysteriously don't have; like these sonar units/pieces, just because they can't get it.......

Just took advantage of trade-your old rod and reels in, deal. Had 4 old rods and reels I was going to give away. But been seeing this deal several years now so I thought I would try it out and replaced them with new stuff. Pretty good deal if you Buy some Curados.

I've got a couple I've been thinking about doing that with one has had the tip broken off and has been repaired but is a couple of inches shorter than it used to be. the other is an old Browning spinning rod. The one that has been repaired is an old David Fritz Crankin' Rod, don't even remember the brand. I guess the trade is based on how much you spend?

It started yesterday, the 10th. I called BPS and after quite a bit of discussion, I got this sorted out. Berkeley produced some 400-yard spools, instead of 200-yard spools, that they are selling at a very good price. I just ordered a spool of 15# online.

The 100% fluoro is pretty good or just good enough because of the price?

Live randomly showed up with limited quantities. We'll see if it arrives.

I get that with all their new stores they have had to cut back, but I have a question. Are there any speakers or events at all? The only thing I could find is at the end of March & first couple days of April they are have a big thing at the original store in Springfield.

I think it and Gama are the 2 strongest lines.

Was at the BPS in Grapevine today....very slow, no guest speakers, and it seemed like the "sales" were not all that great.
