Fishing Gloves For UV Protection - 03/05/22 03:02 AM
What fingerless or partially fingerless gloves do you wear while fishing for protection from the sun's UV rays?

Got some at academy for under 10 bucks a few years back, love them.
Rock fish fish baiter pro gloves. Looks like prices have doubled in a few years, 15.99 now. Excellent gloves, you don’t get hot in them.

I like the simms as well. Light weight and don’t hold a lot of water. I’ve had the same pair around 3 years. I just wash them a few times a year.

I've used Simms and they don't last they stretch out and the fingers get torn and tattered, my last couple pair have been Monkey Fish and they seem to last longer.

get some that have those clip things built in or whatever so you can clip them together when being stored. Really easy to end up with only 1 glove before you know it!
These are the ones I had before and was a big fan. I got some other academy ones that dont have a clip...and im down to 1! LOL

I use these Simms.
Amazon - Simms SolarFlex GlovesI actually lost a pair and liked them well enough to rebuy the same ones again. The open palm helps get them on/off easier.

I have worn the same for 4 or 5 years now. They're torn to ribbons, but the part covering the back of the hand is still in tact so it's still serving its purpose of "sun protection."
