Was there all day Monday and absolutely found 58-60 degrees EVERYWHERE, Dec 27th and and 60 degree water? Bizarre! Bass? SLOW for us but we located an area with lots of sandbass that kinda saved the day.

58-60 around Wise County ramp on Sunday. Fishing was not good… we chatted with several other boats, 1 fish here and 1 fish there for most some with zero. Could only get bit on a specific blade combo spinnerbait. They would bump a jig but just weren’t eating it. Follow up that bump on a jig with the spinnerbait and catch a fish. Caught a limit with a 4 lb big fish, but man did we have to work for em.

It’s really bizarre. I’m catching fish in a foot of water. Fishing on the south side seems to be working for me.

58 to 60 today
Caught a few 1.5s but it was a grind BEAUTIFUL DAY i think i got a sunburn
I found this post today and I had to laugh. Water temps were 58 to 60 at the end of December. I fished Bridgeport today and water temps were 50 to 53 degrees. Air temp was 79 maybe over 80 later in the day. This shows what a week of cold weather will do as last week was cold all week.

Heard Ray Roberts was up to 50* as well the last few days. If these temps hold out and the sun stays out longer. It's time my friends.
