Thanks for the video. You've proven again that lure type and size are optional when it comes to catching fish of any species. Gone are the days of using 30 lb mono and mostly heavy lures for bass. The angler has a large range of lures to choose from knowing that the chances are good finding and catching fish.

I try to get out of the mind set of "what worked yesterday". Each day brings new challenges and opportunities!!

many moons ago I got into a school of 1.5 pounders and less. I caught several in a row on my bait caster and then I decided to down size to my crappie rig.
I caught 43 bass in a row on my crappie rig of those little dudes. never has that ever happened again. was a lot of fun.

It's really about matching the equipment to the fishing conditions.
When I first got into bass fishing back in the early seventies and eighties, a lot of the lakes where I learned to bass fish were full of brush and dead as well as newly flooded timber and you were crazy to try and fish in that stuff with line under 30 to 20 pound test.
I've had bass break off with heavy line and properly set drags and snap the line like it was 2# test.
So the same goes for today, that you have to match the rod and reel and line to the conditions.
